RAPE FESTIVAL _ WHA!

2-22-2026.......The world seems to be going thru an incredible emotional and psychotic change.  We are all experiencing it and it is showing up even in the smallest ways like the way people are driving. But the most horrific item than came across my desk is the news of the RAPE festival currently going on in Ozoro community, Delta State, Nigeria’s South-south for seven days.  SEVEN DAYS OF LEGAL RAPING OF WOMEN! Ozoro is located in the Niger Delta region of Southern Nigeria.  I saw this in Medium, an Internet Magazine. This is an article written by Nofisat Damilola, one of its jounrnalist.

I read this magazine every time it comes out because it is really on the money, 90% of the time, it gets a lot of women writers writing about things that affect women.  This piece however is one of the most amazing pieces I have read to date.  Here is the link:

“Many girls have reportedly been raped and molested by men in Ozoro during what is being described as a ‘raping festival’ in the area,” he commented on the clip, which captured a crowd of rowdy young men assaulting a young woman, whose bra had already been torn.

“According to multiple reports and videos circulating online, today is said to be the day of this festival in the Ozoro community, and girls are warned not to go outside.

“It is alleged that any girl seen outside could be attacked and raped by groups of men,” said the X user.

PREMIUM TIMES learnt that the bizarre festival has been an ancient tradition in the Ozoro community.

“Apparently, this is a tradition that has been going on for decades, and it’s a feast of a particular deity which lasts for seven days.

The police in Delta State, Nigeria’s South-south, said they have arrested six suspects over a bizarre festival where women are publicly gang-raped by men.
